The place was nice, yes to the park. I didn’t wait for much to see the doctor. The doctor was really nice and great with kids. It’s a little bit pricey as I paid 200aed for consultation only.

After a struggling battle over 18 months with my teeth & Gums, I decided to do some research. We love India and had heard of many people having dental treatment, we also had a holiday booked. I private messaged GOA DENTAL STUDIO in May 2019 after seeing some great reviews and knowing it wasn’t far from the resort we were planning to visit. I explained my issues and what I would like and also my fears, ( my fear was unbelievable I just wanted a lovely smile but was so frightened it would look wrong and false). I asked what the time frame would be and also the costs involved. Dr Desai asked me to send pictures of my teeth and explained what it looked like I needed without actually seeing and also a time frame and cost (The work & cost was correct from the message consultation) Day 1 - Consultation with Dr Mahi Desai, we discussed how I would like them to look and the materials used and also the colour. We then took a taxi ride for a full mouth X-ray. Day 2 - 90-minute appointment prepping top teeth for veneers, plastic teeth fitted (they looked the same as my natural teeth) Day 3 - 90-minute appointment preparing bottom teeth for veneers, plastic teeth fitted. Day 4 - 60-minute appointment After 5 days my veneers were ready to be fitted, Dr Mahi first showed me what they would look like to see if all was ok and I was happy. Perfect! Day 5 - 50-minute appointment Implants fitted at the back ready for my back teeth and another holiday to the lovely Goa. Day 6 - 10-minute appointment to remove stitches and check all was ok. I couldn’t be happier but not going to lie, depending on your own sensitivity and how well you heal is personnel to yourself. So, remembering the feeling from one tooth out or treatment to one tooth, times that by the work that is being done in a short period of time. The care and attention received was brilliant from Dr Mahi Desai I can definitely recommend Dr Mahi Desai of Goa Dental Studio and thank you for your patience and my beautiful smile (no more bleeding gums or food being lodged).

The major reason that I came to the Dental Specialist's was because of Dr Sharath. He guided me through the whole process and made me believe that a single woman from Australia was capable of travelling to India to have my teeth and dignity restored. The second reason was that Dr Venkat does a different style of implant that does not require bone growth etc which means you essentially have great teeth within 1 week compared to the elongated time of other procedures. Dr Venkat, who is the Implantologists does most of the work himself or closely monitors if he doesn't. He is not only a wonderful man but also a talented dentist. He has impeccable character - he is honest, genuine, very kind and speaks very good English. He is definitely the boss of the clinic and he is always available to discuss any issues or concerns. Even Dr Ruthika who is also available. Definitely, the most difficult thing for me was adjusting to the high intensity of dental work required for full mouth treatment of implants in two weeks. Everyone was very supportive. Every day definitely gets easier. There is no doubt there is a great adjustment from having your own teeth to dental implants. It takes time for the brain to adjust to the difference and there is a certain amount of grief that comes with that change.  Given the alternative, I would still choose dental implants over false teeth and I was lucky that the dental specialists were professional from the first to the last step of the journey with me. The clinic is very hygienic. I would highly recommend this practice.
