Most people might be worried about the crime and the unknown going to Guatemala but I was met at the airport by the mother of the Alan (dentist). I stayed at her house in the heart of Guatemala City, she is very nice and she spoke great English. His mom drove me to the clinic and Alan drove me back. Of course, I have been there three times and travelled around with no problem.
