Bariatric Surgery Clinics Antalya

The ladies I had supporting me from day 1 were fantastic. Alex answered all my of my [ many] questions, accurately and efficiently with direct contact with my chosen surgeon. Ayse my personal assistant /carer in Antalya, I can not thank enough for everything she did 'over and above the call of duty' I have a severe pain condition so obviously alot of trauma to my system, she held my hand through & reassured me throughout the removal of the drains which is the most painful part of any surgery. Talking of the surgery itself, I had my surgery with Prof Dr E D & his assistant Dr E at medical park hospital they who both spoke English so no excuses regarding communication. The consultation was very brief, after brief introductions. I was told to undress 'to see my body', which was uncomfortable to say the least as there were 4 people in the room at the time! The prof spoke more to his assistant than to me whilst drawing lines on my body. The time taken to explain the actual surgery was minimal, my questions regarding their understanding of the excessive pain from fibromyalgia were met with ' hes a professor he knows all about the condition'. I was reassured my pain would be managed as he had treated patients with fibromyalgia before. I woke from the anaesthetic shaking uncontrollably for several minutes when I finally stopped I was in pain, but certainly bearable. But as the medication from surgery wore off the pain was excruciating no Drs were available and the nurses said they couldn't give me any other pain relief than the IV' fluids which turned out to have only an NSAID and IV paracetamol!!! When I insisted on them contacting the Dr's, a nurse came back with a different sized iv and said it contained a Turkish drug similar to pethidine. I waited and waited but no pain relief. I had to resort to tripling my usual pain medications and hope I didn't over dose!! They did kindly allow me to stay in hospital an extra day to be monitored [tbh I could not have walked out if I tried] but one of the night staff was so unfriendly [I kept reminding her to turn off the bright lights. I can't sleep with lights on]. When I was visited on day 2 I was given all clear to leave then with no notice or explanation the nurse began removing the drains that were literally inside me. I was in total shock & tried to ask them to wait & let me recover I was by then crying in pain, but ignored and I literally screamed when the last ones were pulled out as they felt like a knife was cutting through me ... still shaking with shock I was being dressed in my dressing gown and told we were getting a lift back to the hotel. The Dr's had left and I haven't heard a word from since. Ayse was an absolute star she held my hand and tried to comfort me she looked pretty shaken up too! She personally bought me some drinks to rehydrate and stayed in touch answering my questions day & night. Clinics United were a Wonderful team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to travel for surgery but please NOTE- Turkey have different rules regarding opiates even in hospitals so if you have a pain condition do your research !!!!

I had a gastric sleeve with AYT clinic on 4th November. Asli my consultant was there from start to finish, and is such a lovely lady. From my first consultation on WhatsApp to saying goodbye in Turkey, I felt so supported. In 4 weeks I have lost 32lbs, and can’t wait to see my progress as the weeks go on. The hospital was clean, and some of the nursing staff couldn’t have done more for you. My companion had 3 x meals a day, although the odd one was missed. Very friendly driver who helped with luggage as soon as we arrived. Not to forget my wonderful surgeon Dr Erdem who has changed my life, he was so friendly & made the loveliest little incisions that have healed great. Couldn’t recommend more!

This was a very pleasant journey. From the inquiry through the lovely Nesrin, to the airport pick-up with Rüştü, to the welcoming day and night nurses at the hospital, Sibel & Areldi, Cantine staff down to the brilliant professor Nurullah Bülbüller and doctor Mani! I felt very well looked after and also the after care is brilliant! I am now 15 days post OP and I cannot thank the whole team enough! Definitely recommend. Ps: everyone were also brilliant with my lil toddler!

Having just returned home (UK) today after having an gastric sleeve surgery I couldn't recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli enough. I'm in complete awe at the minimal scarring (4 mini insertion holes) and lack of pain. The experience as a whole was far beyond my expectations. I was visited before surgery by Dr Suleyman and regularly after surgery. He always had a welcoming smile and very pleasant to talk to. I would also like to mention the level of professionalism from all the nurses on ward 6 Zarife, Ufuk, Kadriye, Aynur and Nuray. My main concern for surgery abroad was the language barrier and despite me not being able to speak a word in Turkish, this was not an issue at all. The kindness, patience, and incredible level of care you ladies provide was above and beyond. It was you ladies that really kept me comfortable and out of any discomfort the whole time and I'm truly grateful. Antalya Yasam Hastaneleri is truly lucky to have you guys. I would also like to mention the cooks and the cleaners. The food was delicious and the level of cleanliness was above and beyond any standards I've experienced within the UK. And lastly, a massive thank you to Arina who from day one (when I first began inquiring about the surgery) has been phenomenal. From arranging the pick ups, all the screening and tests that are carried out beforehand, translating for us, to even pleasant conversation made this whole experience smooth. My nan hasn't stopped talking about how wonderful you had all treated her (as she was my companion). Highly recommended. Phenomenal service, even more phenomenal staff. I'm truly grateful. Thank you for changing my life.

Had my sleeve surgery in Feb 2023 and have a total loss of 8 stone 1lb now a year later. I can’t thank the surgeons and the whole team enough for making sure I was comfortable and reassured the whole time from pick-up at the airport to the drop-off Even after my surgery, I’ve been getting messages from dietitian Irmak making sure all is ok and if I need any help with my journey - the best thing I have ever done no regrets.

After having three children (all natural births) I felt that my bladder had weakened and my private area needed a rejuvenation. I contemplated and done a lot of research before finding Hylia Health. I was over the moon because the surgeon is female, for some this may not matter but personally, this put me at ease and made me feel more comfortable. Finally, I decided to go ahead and book and I am so glad I did. It has been one of the best choices I have made for myself. I feel much more confident and I can drink liters of water without multiple trips to the toilet. Hylia health where very professional and supportive every step of the way, before and after treatment. They arranged transfers to pick me up from my hotel and drop me back. They have a coordinator who spoke extremely good English and was even able to advise on the best places to go out to eat and do fun activities. Now I'm back in the UK they are still in contact with me via what's app and I can contact them anytime if I have any concerns.

My experience with Dr Mehmet Tahir Oruc was amazing. I cannot fault the service I received from him or the hospital staff. I would 100% recommend using The Medical Park Hospital.

I was introduced to this clinic from friend of mine that I know for many many years. And he highly recommended this place. Actually I was scared a little bit if it's gonna be painful but actually it was completely different than what I thought. I am satisfied and I also highly recommend anyone for a great job from the staff. The coordinator is one of the guys that you can become friends for life time, making you comfortable through all the procedure. And from the receptionist to the nurses, and doctor I have no bad words that I can say because whatever I say will not just be enough for the great service I received. I had a great experience.
