This was a wonderful experience having dental work done in Costa Rica. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Urzola. Everything we expected was just as planned. The cost savings is amazing as compared to prices in the US. We have and will continue to spread the word that he's genuine. I had all on six dental implants and am more than pleased. I saved enough money to pay for a facelift from his brother, a reputable plastic surgeon so we'll be back early September for that! Gabriel Fallas communication skills were extremely precise; he was thoughtful and considerate of myself (the patient) and my fiancé. We were escorted from the plane through customs and to our hotel, Gabriel had everything set up promptly. Our experience in Costa Rica was great! Gabriel arranged transportation to all of the appointments; he was even available for non-appointment related excursions as a translator as well as alternate transportation. Gabriel remained humble and patient throughout the entire process. The physician was phenomenal; He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the procedure. He checked for allergies and comorbidities prior to traveling, that would interfere with anesthesia and treatment. The physician explained the post-op care and Gabriel reviewed the diet change & post-op care with my fiancé and myself prior to our arrival back to the hotel; this by far has been quite an experience and I can't wait to return in December.
Seven of my family members and a few coworkers have gone to Dr Calvo for dentistry work. So while my sister was travelling to have work done that she was quoted $31,000 in the USA, I decided to go with her and have some minor work done. I was so amazed how smooth the whole process is. From the second you land at the airport and Olger picks you up, through the initial check-up by Dr Calvo and the estimate to go the work to the work being done for a fraction of the cost of US dentist. Dr Calvo and his staff are very professional, speak fluent English explains everything he can do for you and the price. While having the work done they are caring and gentle. My sisters total price was $3400 compared to the $31,000 estimate she received in the USA. She didn’t need as much as she was told by the US dentist but did receive four root canals and a bridge with six teeth, as well as a deep cleaning. All done within two visits/ two days. Surprisingly she had NO PAIN whatsoever. I just had a deep cleaning, three silver/mercury fillings I got when I was a child replaced, and a whitening treatment and paid right at $500 No pain and now I have the most shiniest teeth that I have had in years. The office is well equipped and very clean. The shopping centre is very nice and clean At the end of the shopping center is a very nice grocery store that has everything you could possibly need. So happy I finally decided to come to see for myself how wonderful Dr Calvo and Olger are. Absolutely the BEST.

I went to this clinic with my husband, who was getting a full set of crowns. His end result was so bright and amazing that I felt embarrassed about the state of my own teeth. I was able to schedule a cleaning with their hygienist, and it was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. I was also able to have a professional whitening treatment for a fraction of the cost in the states. My husband and I are delighted with our new smiles. We highly recommend this clinic and plan to return for periodic checkups.
