I have been referred to Mr Karoo twice for removal pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions and on both occasions he performed the necessary procedures on an urgent basis as dictated by my condition. I had Breast reduction surgery 2 years ago. My surgeon was Mr Sinclair. He was very professional and caring. The whole staff are fantastic. I had my surgery but unfortunately had a problem with skin healing. I then had to attend for a number of months to get treated and cleaned. I then had corrective surgery which went very well. I was one of the few whom this happens to. Overall I am still very happy with the result. I have a bit of downward scarring, which has now faded. I thoroughly recommend this place.

Was struggling to get mums ears syringed anywhere but Dr Draper saw her and cleared her ears within days of making the appointment. He also gave her advice regarding her current hearing situation. Mum was certainly pleased with the treatment and cost involved. Seen promptly on arrival too, which under the current situation we are all in, was really not expected.

I had breast surgery. This no-frills private hospital was not luxurious in decor in the private rooms, the blinds looked shabby and the walls were painted a nondescript cream. It was very hot as the room faced west and it was a hot summers day of 30c. Air conditioning in reception and theatre but not on the ward. The only food I was offered post op for an overnight stay was toast, I was not given a menu to make a choice, I asked if I could have ice cream told they do not stock it but was offered a yoghurt instead. Breakfast was again toast or cereal. The procedure went well and I cannot fault the medical or nursing team. I was checked on frequently and the care I received was first class. I do feel though that some attention should be paid to the decor on the wards, air conditioning for the wards, and improve the food on offer, as I felt the catering was worse than NHS provision. After all, it is a private hospital and I expected a little bit of luxury to be standard for the price I was paying for the procedure. The staff were polite yet friendly and professional. I was checked on regularly post op and when I rang for assistance help was quick in coming. However, I later found out there were only two overnight patients. The care I received was excellent, with staff washing hands before approaching and on leaving.

My surgeon Mr Whitelaw was excellent in all aspects. The staff at Cobham Clinic were all very good. I have no complaints at all.

My first experience of the treatment I received. Wood MediSpa, South Tawton, Devon is set in beautiful grounds and a magnificent building. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel at ease. Reception staff and the nurse involved were both very friendly and welcoming. Dr Toby Nelson carried out cryotherapy. He explained in detail what would happen and checked that I understood and was happy for him to proceed. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout my visit and certainly felt it was good value. I would recommend Wood MediSpa and Dr Nelson to people.
